The engineer finally approved the survey height if the house! Success! The 1/2" is no longer an issue. I immediately emailed the signed survey to the city zoning department as well as the signed FAR sheet. The FAR sheet states how much living space can be built on a property. At the end of construction a professional has to sign it. I am glad that I am that professional. I am also glad that I knew where I left my stamp in all the packing boxes.
